It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Leared in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Streng and Henrietta Streng (Polasek). She is survived by: her son Jack Leared Jr. (Monica) of Hockley; her grandchildren, Bryce Leared, Jake Leared, Teagan Leared, Abigail Jenkins and Hannah Minnis; her brother Gene Streng of Georgia; her sister-in-law Carol Streng; her niece Allison Franklin (Will); her great-nephew Andy; and her great-niece Maggie of Shiner.
A rosary was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (306 S Ave F, Shiner, TX 77984). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church or Catholic Daughters.
