He was predeceased by: his parents, Hank Anthis and Janet Anthis. He is survived by: his wife Jo Kathie Anthis; his brother Thomas Keith (Sandra); his children, April Barcello (Jay), Stephen Anthis Tewalt (Rod Tewalt) and Michael Anthis (Jessica); and his grandsons, Dalton, Hagen Barcello, Micah and Lincoln Anthis.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Klein Funeral Home - Champions (16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Champion Forest Baptist Church - Champions (15555 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, TX 77069). A reception was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Champion Forest Baptist Church (15555 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, TX 77069).
