She was predeceased by: her parents, David Almogabar and Maria of Jesus Cortez; her siblings, Gloria Ramos and Abel Almogabar; and her husband John Perfecto Diaz.
She is survived by: her children, John David Diaz and Elizabeth Castillo; her grandchildren, Stephen Castillo and Vanessa Garza; her great grandchildren, Angelina Castillo, Sophia Garza, Athena and Penelope Marsh; her sister Mercedes "Mercy" Espinoza; and her close friend Susie Q.
