As we bid adieu to Dorothy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dorothy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderick L. Cooper and Ruby J. Cooper; and her brother Donald Cooper. She is survived by: her husband JC Freeman; her daughter Susan Ruby; her son-in-law Darrell Ruby; and her grandchildren, Jessica Kinney (Zachery), Laura Ruby (Brit Pascoe) and Luke Ruby.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory - Spokane (2203 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99207). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Hill Bible Church (958 E 29th Ave, Spokane, WA 99203). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Greenwood Memorial (211 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224).
