He is survived by: his wife Dana Velasquez; his children, Yvonne M. Sanchez Nava and Eduardo R. Sanchez (Ibet); his grandchildren, Ariel Nava, Haleigh Hernandez, Rayna Nava Bashans, Camila Sanchez, Emelia Sanchez and Eduardo Sanchez; his great grandchildren, Josiah Fernandez and Lucille Hernandez; his sisters, Ofelia Sanchez and Martha Sanchez Villegas; and his friend Marines.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Heritage Funeral Home (10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
