Donna Haines wrote a sympathy message

“Elaine, one of my dearest friends! Recently she asked, "do you wish we'd kept a journal of churches visited, revivals we played & sang and miles we traveled? I had never thought about it, but the answer is a resounding "yes"! Our relationship began in the late '70's at an event in Oilton. Before I took the mic, I heard Elaine play, and asked will you play for me? Later I asked, "where do you attend church", she said, I'm not right now, I said come with me Sunday, and the rest is history!”
