She is survived by: her son Samuel Mata Sr. (Mary); her grandchildren, Brian Rodriguez (Rebecca), Celeste Trevino, Samuel Mata Jr. (Christina), Lisa Airhart (Derrick) and Lorin Zavala (Eddie); her great grandchildren, Sabrina, Savana, Alicia, Abella, Christian, Adin, Austyn, Isaiah, Elijah, Aelynn, Xander, Tyler, Celeste, Stephanie and Casey; her great great grandchildren, Adalynn and Shawn Jr.; and her siblings, Ramiro, Olga, Belinda, Elva and Minerva.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Forest Park (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
