He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae Grimble Culbert and Clarence Culbert, Sr.; and his sisters, Bobbie, Johnnie Nell, Linda and Lillie Mae.
He is survived by: his fiancé Stacey Lewis; his siblings, Mae Alice Williams (Jerry) of Alexandria, LA, Clarence Culbert Jr. (Jane) of Corrales and Billie Culbert (Marilyn) of Danville, VA.; and his brother-in-law Harlin Lathers.
