She is survived by: her husband Willie Marlvin Curry; her children, Hallie, Willie Jr. and Tony; and her sister Lacy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Northway Church (8200 Northway Dr, Spring, TX 77382).
In lieu of flowers, Ella requested donations to be made to the United Negro College Fund, Diabetes and Cancer Society and/or Veterans Administration Health Center for Women located in Houston.
