He is survived by: his parents, Patty Canterbury and Joe Canterbury of Tyler, Texas; his wife Robyn; his children, Mary Rose, Camille, Emmy and August; and his siblings, Rachel, Joe Canterbury (Christine) and Tim Canterbury (Kate). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
