He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabián Guzmán and Isabel García; and his wife Inés Rueda López. He is survived by: his children, Micaela Guzmán Rueda (Tanislao), Filemón Guzmán Rueda (Edith), Vicente Guzmán Rueda (María), Felipe Guzmán Rueda (Rosaura), Andrés Guzmán Rueda (Maricela) and Víctor Guzmán Rueda (Jessica). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Cedeno & Salinas Funeral Home (7155 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
