He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvira Tidwell and Horace Tidwell; his daughter Lori Jackson; and his brother Roy Tidwell. He is survived by: his children, Cliffy Tidwell (T. J.), Jeana Hernandez, Kelley Evans and David Evans; and his siblings, Gwen Garza (Homer), Larry Tidwell (Debbie) and Remus Tidwell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carter-Conley Funeral Home (13701 Corpus Christi St, Houston, TX 77015). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
