He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mae and Sylvester Roach; his sister Earlene Jolivet; and his former wives, Ozell and Christie.
He is survived by: his niece Sandra Jolivet Dove of Houston; his nephew Russell Jolivet of Atlanta, Georgia.; his great-niece Tabatha Jolivet; his great-nephew Justin Jolivet-Armstrong of Houston, Texas.; his former wife Wilma Roach; and his cousin Gloria Faye Johnson (family: Dorothy Williams).
