He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Marion Mims and Letha Elizabeth Myer. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Wells; his daughters, Drucinda (Kerry Fletcher), Wendy (Hugo Rivas) and Sarah (Mark Kwolek); his grandchildren, Mary Grace Fletcher, George Henry Fletcher, Yasmeen Real (Jorge), Moses Rivas, Evelyn Rivas, Lillian Rivas, Micah Kwolek, Jonathan Kwolek and Anna Kwolek; and his great grandchild Elena Grace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John (2450 River Oaks Blvd, Houston, TX 77019).
