He was predeceased by: his parents, Lona Brooks and Harris Brooks; and his half-siblings, Bernes, Vivian, Faye, Maxine, Willa Dean and Shirley.
He is survived by: his half-brother Bern Benjamin Brooks; his children, Connie Lyn Bullard of Houston, Texas and Harris "Roy" Brooks (Karen Brooks) of Houston; his sisters, Wanda "Joy" Faucett and Loy Crowder; his wife Glendal Jean Brooks; his grandchildren, Jesse Bullard, Wendy Niemczak (Kevin), Harris Brooks and Sarah Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Haley and Jenna Niemczak.
