She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Coleman English and Helen Mackenzie English; her siblings, Walter Coleman "Buddy" English, Jr. and Eleanor English Stimson; and her brother-in-law Arthur Stimson.
She is survived by: her son Conrad Bering, III (Bernardine Freeland Bering); her granddaughters, Hannah Bering Pittman (John Robert Pittman), Moira Mackenzie Bering and Eleanor Bonner Bering; and her great grandchild Cannon Patrick Pittman.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Church of St. John the Divine (2450 River Oaks Blvd, Houston, TX 77019). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Helen's name may be directed to River Oaks Garden Club, Houston.
