He is survived by: his children, Romel II, Vegas Sr., Alexus, Xavier Sr. (Tiffany) and Caitlin; his siblings, Romel I (Vanessa) and Cyenthia (Randy); his grandchildren, Vegas Jr., Savannah (Donald), Romel III, Paris, Xavier Jr. and Taylor; his great grandchild Ava; his nieces, Sorita (Timothy) and Arandi; his nephew Shannon; his great-nephew Kolbe; his friends, Danny and Williamson; and his close friend Emory Charlton. He is also survived by cousins; in-laws, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wiley Mortuary (1290 Pinemont Dr, Houston, TX 77018). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
