He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Eli Gardner and Annabell Sylvia Jones; his former wife Dorothy; and his brother Wilford Eli Gardner, Jr. (Wil). He is survived by: his wife Connie; and his siblings, Tom (Rosa), Ahniwake Van Vleet and Lynda Telles (Stephen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
