Ayers of Plainview, Texas; his siblings, Helen Walker of Bryan, Hazel (John Randle) of Austin, Texas, Alma (Craig Cotton) of Austin, Texas and John (Tanya Ayers) of Bryan, Texas; and his stepchildren, Betty Garrett, Brenda Garrett Nelma (William), Jimmy Garrett, Sr. (Patricia) of Houston, Texas and Cermas Garrett (Jennifer) of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
