It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Lee Johnson (Houston, Texas), born in Richmond, Texas, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Johnson and Jimola Johnson; her daughters, Nicole and Victoria Johnson-Vega; the parent of her children Asencion Vega; her son-in-law Anthony Meyers; her sisters, Daphana Johnson and Denise Meyers; her brother-in-law Anthony Meyers Sr.; her brother Dean Johnson; her niece Monique Smith; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shay, Christiana, Raquel, Shawn and Deante Smith; her siblings, Homer Jr., Alphonse, Jesse B. Johnson, Glenna and Gloria Johnson; and her nephew Roland Johnson. She was also cherished by great-grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Unity Funeral Home (7730 Boone Rd, Houston, TX 77072).
