Jaylen Alyne Grimes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaylen Alyne Grimes of Houston, Texas, born in Milton, Florida, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Melynda Grimes and Robert "Bert" Grimes (Candyce Gilliland); her grandparents, Sherry Givens, Don Grimes and Myles Gilliland (Sarah); her siblings, Ryland Gilliland, Casey Kucera (Brian) and Kelly Grimes; her sibling-in-law Kaya Whitworth; and her aunt Michele Smith. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a niece and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holly Spings Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holly Springs Cemetery (Hwy 79, Louisiana 71038).
