Jeannine Hurst Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 78, Jeannine Hurst of Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gracie Mae Dozier and Red Dozier; her brother David Milton Dozier, Jr.; her sister-in-law Donna Hurst; and her nephew Tanner Hurst.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Hurst; her daughter Jill; her son-in-law Barkley Peschel of Sugar Land; her grandchildren, Caden, Gracie and Bella; her son Jeffrey; her daughter-in-law Renae Hurst of Austin; and her grandchildren, Weston and Kendal.

In lieu of flowers, donations—monetary or non-perishable food items—may be made to the food pantry at Champion Forest Baptist Church.
