With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Charles Moore in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Moore and Inez Moore; his former wife Janet Richardson Moore; his wife Gretchen Bunch Moore; his son-in-law Vince Hefley; and his grandson-in-law Kirby Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Colvin (Mac), Jim Moore (Jerri), Theresa Frierson (Ray), Marian Hefley, Richard Moore (Lee Ann), Michael Moore (Kathryn) and John Moore (Stassa); his grandchildren, Jennifer Gunter, Elizabeth Taaffe, Matthew Colvin, Andrew Frierson, Helen Taylor, Douglas Moore, Patrick Moore, Jack Moore, Luke Moore, Michael Moore, Mary Helen Moore and Margaret Moore; his siblings, Jackie Moore (Joann), Beverly Ryan Caten (Ron) and Kathy Phillips McGill (Ken); and his nephew Bunch. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1801 Sage Rd, Houston, TX 77056).
