We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, Joel D. Wingfield of Houston, Texas, born in New Braunfels, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Joel's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Joel's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Wingfield and Willie Mae Wingfield; and his son Joel. He is survived by: his wife Shirlynn; and his children, Melanie Wingfield, Hollie McCall, Melissa Allega (David) and William Griffin (Colleen). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home (111 W. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598).
