We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2026, at the age of 93, John W. Robinson Jr. of Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Robinson Sr. and Madie Lee Virginia Pugh; and his wife Garnetta Gibson Robinson. He is survived by: his children, John A. Robinson and Karen Gray; his sister Mary Kovar; his grandchildren, Payton Gray (Laura), Savannah Irby (Bradley), Jackson Gray, Kirby Robinson and Karson Robinson; his great grandchildren, Baker and Daisy Irby; and his former wife Reta Hornsby Robinson.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waltrip Funeral Home (1415 Campbell Rd, Houston, TX 77055). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
