John Primitivo Zepeda Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Primitivo Zepeda (Houston, Texas), who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Sonia Rae Zepeda; his siblings, Hector, Marcelo, Vicente, Domingo Zepeda and Mary Villareal; and his parents, Vicente Zepeda and Bertha Zepeda.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Zepeda; his daughter Amanda Rose Gordon; his son-in-law Zachary Edward Gordon; his granddaughters, Alexandria Rae and Sydney Meryn Gordon; and his siblings, David, Joe, Roy Zepeda, Emily Albarran, Sara Garza and Esther Salazar.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77011). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Houston National Cemetery. A reception was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Post 560 (3720 Alba Rd, Houston, TX 77018).
