He is survived by: his parents, Adrian Baez and Josefina Cruz; and his children, Oscar Baez, Diana Baez, Luis Baez, Mariana Baez, Nick Baez, Maria Melissa Patino and Ector Javier Patino. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

A committal service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Klein Memorial Park - CyFair (14711 Cypress North Houston Rd, Cypress, TX 77429).
