It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Gilbert Tyson (Houston, Texas), who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Herod Gilbert (Charlie Francis Gilbert) and Houstonian. She is survived by: her son H. Michael "Mike" Tyson, II (Michele); her husband H. Michael "Mike" Tyson; her daughter Michelle Lee Tyson; her grandchildren, Graham Tyson (Kimberly), Claire DeShazo (Will), Lindsey Oliver (Seth), Gracie Pruitt (Ben) and Madelyn Key (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Tyson, Hallie DeShazo, George DeShazo, Nolan Oliver and Wesley Tyson.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (3471 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77027).
