He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Modesto Gonzalez Olmo and Maricela Pagan. He is survived by: his wife Janell Brooks; his son Michael Burnett (Julio); his daughter-in-law Sharron; his granddaughters, Maryellen Greene and Catherine Martin; his grandsons-in-law, Scott Greene and Jeremy Martin; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Jackie, Benjamin, Eli, Ian, Abigail and William; his nieces, Margarita, Roseanne, Alicia, Sarah and Carmen; and his sister Linda.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pat H. Foley & Company (1200 W 34th St, Houston, TX 77018). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Brookside Memorial Park (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039). Once again Julio was devastated and ended up in the hospital for a lengthy visit that even included overcoming a bout with Covid.
