He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Knop and Emma Knop; and his brothers, Harold Knop and Ronald Knop. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; and his children, Todd Knop, Kim Knop Wilson, Mark Knop and Christopher Knop. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church in his honor.
