We are sad to announce that, on December 28, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Leonard Moore (Houston, Texas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Moore and Jesse Moore; and his sister Dwanda Ballard. He is survived by: his children, Dennis and Ebonee; his wife Sherrie; his daughter-in-law Renee; his siblings, Curtis and Zara; his brother-in-law Olin Sr.; and his sister Crystal. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Leonard's name to: Gaston Memorial Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 51 Bloomington, IL 61702-51.

“Last night I got the call that my longtime friend, Leonard C. Moore, has passed into eternity. I will not try to express my shock and sadness. Words will never be sufficient. We made music together at FAMU starting in 1966 in the Marching 100’, and then in Funk INC. In clubs and festivals in the US and in Canada. He was a beautiful, talented, intelligent, caring, and fun loving person. After a pause in our relationship of 40 years, we reconnected and resumed our friendship. He will be missed!”
