It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Ritchie of Houston, Texas, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Ritchie; her son Curt Ritchie; her sons-in-law, Mitchell Phoenix and Aaron Summer; her parents, Jack Wright and Francis Wright; and her siblings, Betty Jean Soileau and Calvin Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Phoenix, Cathy Lynn Summer and Stevie Ritchie; her grandchildren, Christina Phoenix, Kathleen Farmer, Aaron Summer III, Karon Malek, Jessica Summer, Joshua Summer and Jacob Summer; and her siblings, Thelma Wright Lozano and Robert Wright. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
