She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest E. Pladsen and Byrda A. Pladsen (Smith); her husband Eugene Schnabel; and her sisters, Dorothy Pogany, Doris LaBonte, Ruby Lee Locken, Elaine Cundy and Darlene Geyer.
She is survived by: her son Lee Schnabel of Houston; her close friends, Jonathan and Susan Semro; Laura, Daniel, Benjamin and Rhonda Collins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
