He was predeceased by: his mother Tabitha Liyah Elder (Haynes); his grandparents, Rudolph Sr., Maurine Jackson, John Elder and Simmie Elder; his sister Courtney Elder; and his aunt Estelle "Blossom" Jackson.
He is survived by: his father Leonard Elder (Carol); his children, Tye Shannon O'Neal Elder, Tabitha (Matthew Haynes) and Marc Jr. "MJ"; his grandchildren, McKenzie River Haynes and Madison Joy Haynes; his brother Kevin Elder; his stepbrother Darrin Franklin (Sophia); his aunt Carletta Brown; his uncles, Rudolph Jackson Jr. and Joe Connor; and his former spouse Tirsza Elder. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
