We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2026, at the age of 97, Margaret Hawkins Mills in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Marshall Hawkins and Indie Ella Lucy Hawkins; her husband Ed Mills (Ed); and her daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Mills Locklin. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Ann Mills Fletcher; her grandchildren, Dawn Locklin Nichols, Marshall Locklin, Jamie Locklin, Carrie Fletcher Lowe and Russell Fletcher; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Petrowski, Katy Beth Pellerin, Beau Locklin, Zachary Locklin, Abigail Locklin, Preston Lowe, Ayden Lowe, Sarah Lowe, June Fletcher and James Fletcher.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waltrip Funeral Directors (1415 Campbell Rd, Houston, TX 77055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
