She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Cruz and Juan Maldonado; and her brothers, Juan Maldonado, Adan Maldonado and Agapito Maldonado.

She is survived by: her sisters, Eva Perez (Roy Garcia) and Lupe Maldonado; and her children, Elvia, Alberto Garza, Jesus Gonzalez, Mary Lou, Jessie Cantu, Martin and Maria Del Carmen Gonzalez (Francis). She is also survived by numerous grand children, great grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Crespo (4136 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77087). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (5560 Laurel Creek Way, Houston, TX 77017). A committal service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
