She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Verta Parker Woolley. She is survived by: her children, John Combs (Jodie), Judy Smith (Randy) and Janet Combs; her grandchildren, Kelly Dye (Bannon), Drew Combs, Michelle Allebach (Merry Anna) and Brian Smith (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Avery Dye, William Simmons, Layton Combs, Hannah, Matthew Reay, Stella and Abby Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Chapelwood United Methodist Church (11140 Greenbay St, Houston, TX 77024).
In lieu of customary remembrances, donations honoring Mary Lynn's memory may be made to the Chapelwood United Methodist Church Foundation Education Fund, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and the Houston Pops Symphony Orchestra.
