He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathy; and his parents, Lewis Spears and Mary Spears. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Bradley Spears, Dina Dutton (Chance) and Todd Spears (April); and his grandchildren, Holland, Kate, Brandon Spears, Aidan, Avery, Mason Dutton, Grayson, Holden Spears, Cade and Hayes.
