He was predeceased by: his parents, Llewellyn Crane and David Mahood; and his brother Steve Mahood. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Gonders of Oklahoma City; his children, David Mahood (Lynne), Steve Mahood and Elizabeth Bezanson (David); and his grandchildren, Walter Bezanson, Grace Mahood, Mary Clift (Travis) and Ashley Mahood.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (10221 Ella Lee Ln, Houston, TX 77042). A committal service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
