Mont Meredith Phelps Obituary

We bid farewell to Mont Meredith Phelps in Houston, Texas, born in Radford, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Mont touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Mont may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Linder; his family, Alison Eill (Steve), Meredith Schank (Jason), Drew Phelps (Jenica), Amy Ziegler (Keven), Manlio LoConte (Kristin), Marco LoConte (Christina) and Liana Ris (Ethan); and his former wife Marcia Phelps. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
