She was predeceased by: her parents, L. E. Seeman and Marjorie Walker Seeman; and her husband John W. Cox. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Cox Snyder (George) of Houston; her grandson Nicholas (Alyssa); her great grandchild Ensley; her grandchildren, John and Adrienne Snyder (Doak Smith); her great grandchildren, Avery, Sharron L. Cox of Houston and Marjorie L. Cox of Houston; her grandson Benjamin; her sister Charlotte (Joe Snead) of West Virginia; her cousin Harold Kurstedt (Cilia) of Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Phillips of Fort Worth and Carol Cox of San Antonio. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, students, and friends.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations in Nancy's name be made to Education for Ministry at the Sewanee School of Theology at the University of the South or the charity of your choice.
