She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lemmie Howard and Mary Howard; her children, Lavorn Jordan (Michael Taylor), Varnadean Thompson, Lastersteen Thompson Jr., Priscilla Swafford, Tonnette Thompson and Bernadette Thompson; and her niece Idessa Chaplin. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 cherished great-great-grandchild.
