She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert James Stephens (Mary Lee Hill) and Mary Lee Hill; her stepfather Wilfred "Pop" Bourda; and her brother Wilford Earl Stephens. She is survived by: her children, Doneshea Stephens McNeil (George) and Damien Thomas; her grandchildren, Remy Brown and Taylor Brown; her siblings, Albert Stephens, Larry Stephens (Renae), Rickey Stephens (Myava), Kimberly Bourda Murphy and Bridgette Patton (Genarrow); her sister-in-law Marsha Stephens; her aunts, Edna Benford, Betty Lee Johnson, Gloria Jean Stephens, Annie Mae Owens and Willie Mae Thornton; her uncle Paul Hill (Doris); and her nieces and nephews, Ebonee Stephens, Samaria Stephens, Taqiyyah Weathersby, Royce Stephens (Shaun) and Larry Stephens III (Sharonda).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Greater Love Church (4517 Laura Koppe Rd, Houston, TX 77016). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
