He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Desbien; his parents, Wilford Desbiens and Lilly Ann Desbien (Dale); his daughter Joycelyn Desbiens; his grandson Nathan Soenksen; and his siblings, Mary Fox, Jimmy Desbiens and Steve Desbiens.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Henry Louis Gray Jr. (Tammy) of Livingston, Texas and Kathrine Sprouse of Corsicana, Texas; his daughter Melissa Desbiens (Ronnie) of Paducah, Texas; his grandchildren, Lindsey Fields, Allison Flemonds, Vinson Gray, Christopher Soenksen and Kaitlynn Soenksen; and his siblings, R. G. Stoltz (Tammy) of San Antonio, Texas, Fran Carter (Vernon) of Odessa and Glenda Desbiens of Sargent, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
