She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Ester Lewis and Fannie Mae Womack; her husband Ronald D. Simpson; her brother Willie Frank Simmons; her mother-in-law Lillian Simpson Williams; and her brothers-in-law, Khalil Elder, Curtis Martin, Kenneth Mayfield and Kenneth Simpson.
She is survived by: her son Jeremy L. Simpson; her siblings, James C. Lewis of Harker Heights, TX, Sharon V. Jenkins (Norvell) of Pensacola, FL, Bennie E. Hester (Tammy) of Columbus, GA and Marcia L. Hester of Houston, TX; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Simpson (Ester), Curtis Simpson (Charlotte), Donald Simpson Sr. (Myrtle) and Gregory Simpson Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the City Cathedral Church (27131 Hanna Rd, Conroe, TX 77380). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
