He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Marcelino Vasquez and Seferina Habitud Vasquez; his son Robert Matthew Vasquez; and his siblings, Antonio, Humberto, Rudy, Frank, Joe, Maria, Leonor and Evangelina.
He is survived by: his wife Vira T. Vasquez; his children, Ralph Vasquez, Jr. (Debra), Ronald Timothy Vasquez, Rodney Michael Vasquez, Rudolph Gabriel Vasquez and Judge Pamela Medina (Justice David Medina); his sisters, Blanche Terry and Angelina Basquez; his grandchildren, Ralph III, Harmoni (Ryan), Gabriel, Michael, Daniel, Marisa (Kalen), Melanie (Lil Jimmy), Zavian (Kaisha), Milan "Lottie", Anabela, Joshua, Rudy II and Anthony; and his great grandchildren, Slade, Sawyer, Sloan, Sullivan, Josiah, Eden, Hudson, Eloise, Kyani, Kaylie and Avery. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the St Patrick Catholic Church (4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lindale Assembly of God (503 Reid St, Houston, TX 77022). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lindale, church (51 Melbourne St, Houston, TX 77022). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
