He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Harris and Ethel P. Harris. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Harris; his daughter Sonjia Preston; his sister Barbara Duncan; his nephew Mark Harris; his niece Ljuba Duncan; and his grandchildren, Winston Preston, Kevin Preston, Sharena Banks and Genovell Williams.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Augustana Lutheran Church (2001 Wheeler Ave, Houston, TX 77004). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
