It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Hudspeth of Houston, Texas, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ernestine Hobbs; his adoptive parents, Lela Hudspeth and Joseph Hudspeth; his grandparents, Arthur and Dicee Hobbs; and his spouse Willie Mae Hudspeth.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Prince, Vanessa Harvey (Michael Harvey), Pam Curry Garnett (Byron Garnett) and Robert Hudspeth Westbrook (Elizabeth Westbrook); his goddaughters, Annestrice Schultz and Sheree Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jake Prince and Ashleigh Curry.
