He was predeceased by: his parents, Huey P. Johnson and Ethel Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his spouse Shawn Jones-Johnson; his grandchild Destin Lee; his children, Alacia Richardson, Ireion Wright and Jamal Wright; his grandchildren, Aaleyah and Malaysia Wright; and his siblings, Linda J. Drake, Denise J. Allen, Cheryl J. Rivers, Donald Johnson (Velma), Lonnie Brister, Wanza Jackson, Reverend Michael Jackson, Hereina Johnson and Huey P. Johnson, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ages Missionary Baptist Church (6533 Acre Rd, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ages Baptist Church (6533 Acre Rd, Marrero, LA 70072). FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
