He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Lee and Alberta Lee. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Lee; his children, Roosevelt, Jr. (Tanya) and Stella Lee Hicks; his grandchildren, Lawrence J. Hicks (Imani), Lance J. Hicks (Yanina), Alexis J. Hicks, Robert Lee, Eric B. Lee Jonathan Frazier (Joseph) and Anthony Thomas; his great grandchildren, Houston J. Johnson, Joshua Rivera, Maddox Hicks, Micah Hicks, Malachi Hicks and Yanelis Rivera; Etta Fay Lee, Melvin Shelton, Florence Hansley and Tarshya Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church (7034 Tierwester St, Houston, TX 77021). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 30th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Houston Memorial Gardens (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
